Switchcrafts India was established in the year 1978 as a manufacturer of Wound Components like Transformers, Coils and Chokes for various electrical and electronic and Tele-communication applications. Power Supply Adapters for power supply applications. Electrical Ballasts for Fluorescent Lighting, C. F. L. Lighting, High-pressure Sodium, Mercury, Metal Halide Lamps, Halogen Lighting etc.
Switchcrafts India has its unit located at B-383, 4th Main, 6th Cross, 1st Stage, Peenya Industrial Estate, Peenya, Bangalore - 560058, which is around 15 kms from the heart of the city. Peenya Industrial Estate hosts more than 3000 units of different categories and is identified as one of the largest Industrial Estates in Asia.
The promoters of Switchcrafts India are having long standing experience in Technical & Financial matters and are running successfully other businesses for more than four decades. Presently, the unit is headed by Mr. B. S. Suresh Babu, a post graduate Electronics Engineer having experience in academic and Industrial line. He is the Executive Partner of the company.
The unit is equipped with all important plant and machineries, and electrical test equipments like, Winding Machines, Impregnation Plant, Electric Oven, Multimeter, LCR Meter, Insulation Meter, V.A.W Meter etc. required to manufacture quality grade of Transformers, Coils, Chokes and Ballasts. Also the unit will not find any difficulty in adding up new facilities as and when the need calls for.
Working Strategy : Switchcrafts India basically works under four categories:
- Design the products depending on the Customer application.
- Develop and manufacture the products based on customer design.
- Manufacture products based on the drawings supplied by the customer
- Substitutes products based on the study of samples and if necessary with suitable modification without affecting the end application.
